Does anyone have any original source material re the role of the 22nd SCV at 2nd Manassas. Most web sites list 2nd Manassas as one the engagements in which the 22nd was involved. However, the official dispatches re 2nd Manassas from Evans Brigade in the AOR mention all their regimnets except the 22nd. One web site states that they were on "guard duty" but does not give any corroborating reference.
