I am researching George Paul Harrison, Jr. and I have found different sources of information that say he was wounded twice at John's Island, S.C., however, I cannot find verification of this in the Official Records. Can anyone tell me if there is another reliable source where I can find this information? OR if you know where to find it in the Official Records, i.e., Series? Volume? please let me know.
Also, do you know if Fort Wagner and Battery Wagner is one in the same? I found information which says Battery Wagner is part of Morris Island, S.C.
