Where do you suggest I go to try to secure pension records and other information about other members of Company I, 23rd SC Volunteers from Clarendon County. My great grandfather was Major H.H. Lesesne who joined the Sprott Guards in 1861 as a 1st Lt and who was at war's end a major and surrendered the 23rd SC Volunteers at Appamattox.
