I recently spent two nights in the deTreville House in Beaufort, SC, and visited the graves in the family cemetery across the street. I would like more genealogy information on Major Jean LaBoularderie deTreville, member of the Society of the Cincinnati.
A plaque states that Captain deTreville married Sarah Burton Wilkinson who had inherited the plantation on which the military housing is on. Only one gravestone is readable: that of Harriett deTreville Lawrence, daughter of Major deTreville and wife of Samuel Lawrence, who died October 29, 1818, age 35.
