I am looking for Private John Gomillion Medlock served in 7th Regiment Company F SC Volunteers from Graniteville, SC. Served under Capt John Hard (later became Major). Joined in fall of 1861. Died Jan of 1862. Was told he died of pneumonia and buried in Hollywood Cemetary in Richmond, Va. Visited Hollywood Cemetary and no record, no record at Oakwood either. Any info greatly appreciated.
