Bryce: Although I replied on the Virginia Board, I must take up for my Georgia friends. I disbelieve the 3 N.Y. Cavalry account. I can't find any evidence of anything but proper conduct by the Georgians at First Darbytown on 7 Oct. My complaint is with Hoke's refusal to support Field.
