PVT I. P. POOL, Co. B, 2d SC Rifles, was captured at Knoxville, TN, 5 Dec 1863, and held in prison there until 18 Dec 1863, when he was admitted to the Knoxville US General Hospital. He died of typhoid in that hospital, 24 Dec 1863.
