Looking for info about my great-great-grandfather, Henry C. Carter, who was an 'artificer,' skilled blacksmith, with Gamble's Artillary, offically: Florida Leon Light Artillary, later known as Kilcrease Light Artillary and then finally, Houstoun's Artillary known for the Battle of Natural Bridge. Please contact or post response with any info you may have concering this unit, and Henry. His brothers who also served were James M. Carter, MOrris Carter and William P. Carter.
