Just have to ask if you were connected to the Price, Guthrie or the Turner families which once lived there.
The Prices and some of the Guthrie bunch left there in the 1830's and I know for a fact, some stayed behind.
To be honest, you are the only one besides some of my connections that I have ever heard mention that area known as Thickety Creek.
