The following information was found in Jones, Eugene W., Jr., ENLISTED FOR THE WAR: THE STRUGGLES OF THE GALLANT 24TH REGIMENT, SOUTH CAROLINA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY, 1861-1865, (Longstreet House, Hightstown, NJ: 1997):

PULASKI, F. W., Pvt., Age 26. Co. C, enlisted at Georges Station January 7, 1862. Absent, sick, patient in field hospital Sep/Oct 1863. Wounded, patient in hospital Jul/Aug 1864. Killed in battle at Atlanta. Grave located in Stonewall Cemetery, Griffin, Ga. (p. 387).

ROWLINSKI, William, Pvt., Co. A, enlisted at Camp Gist April 16, 1862. Captured near Jackson May 14, 1863. Assigned to Paroled Prisoners Camp at Demopolis June 5, 1863. Wounded at Atlanta. Captured at Peachtree Creek July 20, 1864. Sent to Military Prison, Louisville and transferred to Camp Douglas August 1, 1864. Applied for oath of allegiance December 1864. Claimed to have been loyal, enlisted through false representations. Captured and desires to take the oath of allegiance to United States and become loyal citizen. Description: complexion, dark; hair, red; eyes, grey; height 5 ft. 8 in. Signed oath of amnesty and discharged May 15, 1865. After the war, he moved to Volusia County, Fla. (pp. 393-394).

WITCOFSKY, J. F., Pvt., Age 26, Co. A, enlisted at Charleston December 31, 1861. Present for duty May/Jun 1862. Transferred to Smith's Battalion [2d Bn. SC Infantry Sharpshooters]. (p. 429).
