Jeannette, I have Col. Shaw marrying Martha Hasseltine Lanie 1-21-1868 in Edgefield County, SC. Chapman's "Edgefield County" says of him "under fire... he was as cool and collected as though he were receiving welcome guests in his own home." I have his father as Thomas S. Shaw, but don't have his mother's name.

I'd love to get a copy of that photo.
