The following information was found in BROKEN FORTUNES: SC DEAD IN CSA SERVICE 1861-1865, by Randolph W. Kirkland, Jr.:

CPT William E. CLARK, Co. G, 7th SC Infantry, of Edgefield Dist., died of wounds at Maryland Heights, MD on 20 Sep 1862.

2LT George J. STROTHER, Co. G, 7th SC Infantry, of Edgefield Dist., died of disease, date and place not given.
