I am looking for information on several units of artillery witch served in the Pocotaligo region of SC. These include; a unit called 'Pocotaligo Heavy Artillery' and a unit called 'Coosawhatchie Heavy Artillery', both units fought on October 22, 1862, also a unit called 'Dawson's Bluff Battery' and a unit called 'Bee's Creek Artillery', both of these unit were involved with the Tulifiny Crossroads battle in December, 1864.
Were these units sections of other artillery units? Any information on who commanded these units? Many thanks!
