Margaret

I know what you mean about not being able to send certain messages. I tired and tired to send a message about Sharpsburg giving distances from a house on the battlefield, the spelling of which begins with the letter "R" and rhymes with "Coulette".; After about five tries, I finally realized it was filtered out because the word, correctly spelled, is the same as a casino gambling game! Still, it keeps us on our toes and keeps the tone of these messages on a little higher tone.

I wanted to mention that if you visit the Clarendon Archives website, they will give their hours and a telephone #. I suspect that the ladies there will be more than helpful. Its a small library, but is chock full of material on Clarendon County. Sammy Swamp section is, I think, located on the northwest of Manning.
