I know it is late, but we do have information that might interest you in this project. Lt. George Robinson and his son, James, arrived in Charleston on Jan. 7, 1861 and chronicle their experiences through letters back to the family in Hamburg, South Carolina. George spent most of his time on Sullivan's Island and James was on Sullivan's and Morris Island. If we can help, please contact us at richardandlaurabeach@netscape.com.
