I was with the Cordell Airborne Rangers at the Citadel many years ago. They,by lineage, would once have been F Troop 6th SC Cavalry Aiken Partisan Rangers. In 1978 we trained on helicopters instead of horses in Wando Woods, Francis Marion Forest, and some charming swamps of Ft. Jackson. Some things never grow old!
