My great grandfather was in Holcombe Legion,Nick bridges. Also his brother Alexander. The only thing I can find on the rolls is that Nick served at MT Pleasant SC,from 1863 to the end.Alaxander rolls start at 1861 until the end of the war.Which stands to reason because Alaxander was 10 years older than Nick.I'm just wandering could Alaxander have came back home to pick up Nick when they came back from Miss.into Charleston. Also was Holcombe Legion organized at the Cowpens battlefield? They were from that neck of the woods near Limestone Springs.Thanks.
