Guise, Co H, 3rd Regiment, SC Inf

Looking for information on Amos B. Guise.

Listed below are the tidbits of info I have or wonder about:

Per SC Archives Dept--
Private, Company H, 3rd Regiment, So Car Infantry.
Enlisted April 14, 1861 at Dutch Fork, Lexington District.
Mustered into Confederate service at Columbia June 6, 1861 under Captain Drury Nunamaker.
Not on next available roll October 31, 1862 or any later roll. –

I believe Amos B. and his brother Albert A. enlisted the same time/place.

Albert made it back to SC and applied for pension for service in Co H, Third Regt. Apr 4, 1919 in Ballentine, Richland County. (Third Cavalry Regt)

Per Ancestry.com--
3rd Regiment, South Carolina Infantry

Soldier Name Company Rank In Rank Out

*Guise, A.A. H Private Corporal
*Guise, Amos H Private Private
*Guise, M. H Private Private
NOTE: M Guise - Alternate Name (Ancestry) Amos Guise

There is a monument to the Confederate dead beside the Lexington Cty Courthouse in SC. The only Guise N.A. Guise.

According to research done earlier by a family member (before computers) Amos B. Guise died from pneumonia NEAR Front Royal, VA.

On this website I saw a photo identifying "Confederate dead buried at the Holston Conference Cemetery at Emory & Henry College in Washington County, VA. Under South Carolina, number 150 is R.N. Sise which makes me wonder.

I apologize for being so "long-winded", --
Mainly, I'm trying to find where Amos B. Guise is buried but I'd also love any information about Amos or Albert's experiences.
