I've discovered that compiled service records of soldiers often contain descriptions of heroic acts in various battles.

I wonder if anyone has looked at the CSRs for the 7th SC Cavalry.

Also I wonder if anyone has other kinds of first person accounts.

I have material that I'd like to share on that regiment as well.
