"Roster" Co. H, 19th SC Infantry

There's precious little information on the 19th and all but none on Company H. With the help of some of you, I've put together this much. Can anyone add to it and/or make corrections?

Lieutenant: A.T. Wideman
2nd Lieutenant: William Jay
1st Sergeant: J.F. Lyon
1st Sergeant: Thomas Watson

ASHCRAFT, Joseph Joel Private; enlisted November 18, 1862, Chester District with Capt. Senn. Captured July 3, 1864 near Marietta GA. Imprisoned at Camp Morton IN. Paroled May 23, 1865.

BELLOTT, Sgt. E.J. Wounded severely in groin and face at Murfreesboro.

DOWTON, J.C. Wounded severely in the mouth at Murfreesboro.

JAY, Sgt. F.M. Wounded slightly in the back at Murfreesboro.

LEROY, Charles T. Taken to hospital at Forsyth; died August 9, 1864; buried Confederate Cemetery at Forsyth GA.

McCASLAN, Lt. R.F. Wounded slightly at Murfreesboro.

McWILLIAMS, W.G. Wounded slightly in the arm at Murfreesboro.

RUSSELL, Abraham Wounded slightly in the foot at Murfreesboro; returned to duty.

SATCHER*, R. Wounded at Battle of Stones River; transported by train to Chattanooga, where he died. Buried Chattanooga Confederate Cemetery.

WALKER, W. R[?]. Died at Murfreesboro as the result of a severe wound in the hip.

WARNER, Robert Killed at Murfreesboro.

WATSON, Sgt. T.A. Wounded severely at Murfreesboro; leg amputated below the knee.

WILLIAMS, Corp. T.J. Wounded severely in the shoulder at Murfreesboro.

*Name could be LATCHER or HATCHER.

Notes: (1) The Battle at Murfreesboro, which included Stones River, was fought December 31, 1862 through January 2, 1863. (2) James G., Jas. G., Joseph G. and Jos. G. Ashcraft are listed on two websites as members of Company H. The names are proven transcription errors, found in indices for Confederate Compiled Service Records. The aforementioned names are one and the same - Joseph J. Ashcraft.
