Re: Does anyone have a copy of this book?

Bryce:

Its very rare. The only copy I've ever seen is at the South Carolina Historical Society, Charleston. There is a partial copy of it reproduced in the Crosland family genealogy, which was published in the 1960's, and there are a fair number of copies of that around. Lula Crosland Ricaud, The Family of Edward and Ann Snead Crosland. Mrs. Ricaud, however, left out small portions of Crosland's book as it relates to Charles Crosland's active service in Virginia, and she also jumbled his accounts of two battles -- if I remeber correctly she confuses First Darbytown Road on 7 Oct 64 with his account of the action on Charles City and Williamsburg Roads on 27 Oct. Still, if you can't find the original, Mrs. Ricaud's edited version is helpful, and a lot of geenalogy libraries have the Ricaud work.

The data for the orginal is Charles Crosland, Reminiscences of the Sixties. Columbia, S.C.: The State Co., 1910, 52 pp.
