McGowan Brigade

My great-grandfather served in Co."I",12th.South Carolina Infantry. I believe this was a part of McGowan's Brigade
because of the information I have. My great-grandfather was wounded on May 12th. at Spottslyvania Courthouse and was sent to one of the in Jackson . If anyone is interested I
will be happy to share any info. I have. I believe General Robert E. Lee , himself , was present at this battle. The following is a list of officers at Spottslyvania Court House :
