You will find some 22 cards in his service record files which may be obtained through the service noted above.

Of interest, he survived the war notwithstanding suffering a gunshot wound, Minie Ball. Also, there is a May 1953
letter written by the US Army Adjutant General regarding his service with a Mrs. W. P. Dillard of Greer, SC.
