There was a PVT George HUGGINS in Co. B, Cavalry Battalion, SC Holcombe Legion. The Holcombe Legion originally consisted of a cavalry battalion and an infantry battalion, and was named in honor of Lucy Holcombe PICKENS, wife of the governor of SC. The cavalry battalion was ultimately incorporated into the 7th SC Cavalry Regiment. Hope this helps.
