The South Carolina in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Bright Burrell, 1st South Carolina Cavalry Co.

A few years ago I purchased a paperback book entitled Civil War Letters from Bright Burrell to Martha An Burrell 1862-1865. A man named Ed Crawford had these letters in his collection and published the transcription of the letters. The cover had a drawing of the flag for Company F and there were photos of Bright and Martha inside. I think this was a limited publication and there is not a title page. A search for Ed Crawford might get you copies reprinted. Last I heard he was in Georgia and I believe he was a professor.
