It has recently come to my attention that some of the remaining graves on SRS may contain the remains of our dear departed confederate ancestors. For one, it appears that my great, great uncle's remains are still in the Wooley Cemetary on SRS. Has anyone done any research to identify Confederate grave sites on SRS? If we can identify, I would love to be a part of any petition to get DOE to allow us to mark those graves accordingly.
