I stumbled across your post. I am a descendant of Capt Richard Walter Reddy G Company, 21st South Carolina. I was wondering if you had any other source info about company G than the typical rosters and lists. Your is the first posting I have seen for G company! Other than SGT E. Wells ( who is Capt. reddy's brother in law) those are the only two members of the company I know of I would love to hear about your ancestor if you would be willing to share. If you have any other members interested please let them know I would like to hear about there ancestors as well. I do have an sworn statement written by Capt Reddy 20 July 1863 concerning the action of the Yankee landing and advance on morris Island/ Battery Wagner July 10 11th 1863 if you are interested.

I am in the middle of Hagood's Book and have developed a affection for the 21st SCVI. Would love to talk to you as a Fellow SCV/MOSB hopefully soon OSC member.
email me at rebelparatrooper@live.com if interested.

Sincerely in the bonds of the south,
