I'm looking to confirm that an ancestor Lewis Frazier b. 1775 in Granville, NC and d. 1844 or 1859 (conflicting sources) in Jefferson County, AL served in the 3d (Alston's) SC Militia in War of 1812. I know that he was living in SC at this time before moving to GA and then AL. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it!
