George, I would like to correct one error I repeated in my initial post. A. L. Turner 22nd SCVI is my Great Grandfather and the Great Great Grandfather of my two sons. My Grandfather A.E. Turner, was his son. I only wish I had made a written record of every question I asked my Grandfather and his responses related to his fathers participation in the War. My Great Grandfather, A.L. Turner, died in 1920 and my Grandfather, A.E. Turner, died in 1980.
