An equally important question is who owns the plot of ground upon which the monument rests!

I am an Episcopalian by choice and am dumbfounded whenever fellow church members turn their noses up in the air over our Confederate ancestors. If there are members of that local congregation who are also members of the SCV, then you should be on stronger grounds than otherwise.
