Rolls of Co. "L", 10th South Carolina Regt., include Barnabus A., Bennett, Ely, Love, Nathan and William Flowers. Ely Flowers enlisted on Feb. 18, 1864, all others being on the original roll when the company organized, White's Bridge SC, Sept. 30, 1861. The company's first captain was Sidney E. McMillan, who had been postmaster at Marion Courthouse.

Barnabus A. Flowers was wounded at Murfreesboro TN, Dec. 31, 1862. Later serving as a provost guard, he received a parole at Greensboro NC, May 1, 1865.
Bennett Flowers died at Atlanta GA, Fairgrounds Hospital No. 1, Sept. 16, 1863.
Love Flowers served as a regimental teamster for most of the war.
Nathan Flowers was captured at Missionary Ridge, Nov. 25, 1863, and died of tuberculosis, Rock Island IL, Jan. 15, 1865.
William Flowers received a discharge from service due to ill health, Mar. 20, 1863.
