Am looking for any info on Joseph J. Jenerett, Jenerette, Jeanerette, Generet. He was listed in 1860 Horry County census, SC. with wife, Clementine (Permenter) and young children. He is not listed in the 1870 census and his children are living in different households in NC. Supposedly, one of his children remembered him walking away with a knapsack on his back. Possibly going to war?? Wondering if he was a Civil War soldier and died during the war. Any info would be appreciated. M. A. Slagle
