I believe that these brothers were from Spartanburg Co. So.Car.
There was a Robert Giles in the 13th Regt Co. E who died on June 26 1862 at/ near Richmond Va. He is buried in Hollywood Cemetery plot m12.
There is a John Thomas Giles in 5th Inf. Co. C who died Aug. 18 ,1861 in Charlottesville Va. He is buried in the Confederate Cemetery on the Un. of Va. campus in Charlottesville. Va.
There is William Benjamin Giles in the 13th Regt Inf. Co. E who is listed as receiving a pension in Okla. and who appears to have died sometime after 1915. His pension file is Reel 2 - App.No. 626 - Page 58 James
