Charleston SC Battery Tour site

If you have not seen it yet, I think you will truly enjoy seeing this website with 3 360 Degree Virtual Reality movies (Quicktime required).

Please go take a look and then let me (and others here) know what you think about it.

There is a new photo of a famous historical plaque which is found on the elevated sidewalk that overlooks the harbor. It shows you where Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, Fort Johnson and Castle Pinkney are located between the Ashley and Cooper rivers and contains all the important dates. The funny thing is most tourists probably walk right by (or over) this, without realizing it is there in the cement.

The page on Fort Sumter is especially informative and has been expanded with several cool photos and includes a countdown to 150th Anniversary of First Shot of the Civil War being fired on April 12, 1861 at 4:30 AM. Right now, it says 347 days, 3 hours, 36 minutes.
