I am looking for information on Isaac Hawkins who was a private in the 18th Regiment of the South Carolina Infantry. I saw something saying KIA in Jackson but I don't know anything about him or his regiment or where he might have actually died and been buried. It seems I found a death date that was not the same as the battle date. I am also looking for a connection to possible daughters Martha and Minerva, maybe wife Essie. Thank you!
