W. D. Page, Private, Company E, Infantry Regiment, Holcombe Legion, South Carolina Volunteers, enlisted January 16, 1862 at Camp Walch by P. F. Stevens for one year, enlisted for the war March 10, 1862, last recorded present on the March & April, 1862 muster roll, the company was stationed at Adams Run, Camp Capees {sp?] at this time, no further records

Note: The next surviving muster roll is for the period Sept/Oct, 1863 in which he was not recorded. He must have been dropped from the rolls, death, missing, captured, death, desertion, etc., and so recorded on one of the two missing intervening bi-monthly muster rolls.
