The Daniel Maxey Williams I am familiar with lived in Clinton, SC and moved to first Arkansas and then to Missouri in the 1850's. He lived on logan creek in Reynolds county Missouri during the civil war. He was the father of Daniel Yancey Williams who was my Grandfather. This Daniel Maxey Williams has hundreds of descendents in Reynolds and Shannon counties Missouri and also throughout the Midwest.
