I have a Union account from a soldier in the 16th Michigan who says he shot and killed a young officer of about 25 years old on March 29 1865 in the battle of the Quaker Road, Va.

I'd like to find out if any of the regiments in Wallace's SC brigade lost a young officer.

The brigade included the regiments listed above along with the Holcombe Legion.
