Researching Private Blaney H. (Harper) Johnson, Co. M, 1 Reg't Palmetto Sharpshooters, SC Volunteers who enlisted on July 20, 1862 and died at the Second Battle of Manassas (Chinn Ridge) on August 30, 1862. According to Confederate records his body was shipped, by rail, to Manning, SC on September 15, 1862. Any information regarding the above would be appreciated.
