Hi David,

I am a re-enactor with Company C palmetto Sharpshooters based here in the UK. The green trim stems from a letter written by a soldier in the Palmetto Riflemen who ws killed in 1861 and was asking for a shirt edged in green.
We portray the 1863 period and are wearing Richmond Depot 11 style jackets with either curzy blue trousers or grey. Any uniform information that you have would be useful.
