Searching for information on Ephram P. Smith (aka E.P.). He was born in South Carolina about 1825 to Joseph Smith and Ester Moore. I have found six E.P. Smith's on the "Soldiers and Sailors System Search", but since I don't know which of the six could be him, or even if any, I am hoping someone may be able to tell me whether any information is available given the above information. I am only supposing that he would have participated in the War Between The States -- he would have been the right age. His brother, T. Z. Smith, did participate from the State of GA. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
