Your best bet will be to contact the Darlington County Historical Commission. Timmonsville was part of Darlington District (later county) until 1888 when Florence COunty was formed. They have family files on hand that I am sure can help. Their number is (843) 398-4710. They are open Mon-Fri, 9 to 5.
