Re: 14th SC Inf. burials men who died at Cold Harb

Cold Harbor wounded would have been removed to Richmond hospitals and those who subsequently died would have been buried in either of these two cemeteries depending on the proximity of the hospital to the cemetery.

Confederate dead on the battlefield would normally have been buried near where they fell. Has anyone documented the removal of the battlefield dead in the Richmond area? Usually a Ladies Memorial Association took this project in hand within ten years of the war.
