While doing research regarding the Florence Stockade and surgeon Dr. O.A. White, I ran across a reference to him being attached to the South Carolina Seige Train. I have not located a good description of what this "Train" would be. I would appreciate some background information.

I would also like information regarding Dr. White's service at the Florence Stockade - Dr. White, 3rd SC Artillery Battallion - Palmetto Artillery.
