PVT Josiah YOUNG, Co. E, 1st (Orr's) SC Rifles, age 30 at enlistment, a resident of Pickens District, DOD 3 Jul 1863.

PVT Samuel GARDNER (GARNER?), Co. H, 15th SC Infantry, a resident of Union District, DOD, date/place not given. (PVT Samuel GARDNER is listed on Broadfoot's roster of Co. H 2d SC Infantry.)

PVT Michael SNIPES, Co. I, 8th SC Infantry, a resident of Marion District, KIA at Cedar Creek, VA, 13 Oct 1864. (He is the only SNIPES listed on Broadfoot's roster of Co. I, 8th SC Infantry, where he is shown as CPL).

PVT H. KIRKLAND. Not listed in BROKEN FORTUNES, but appears on Broadfoot's roster of Co. I, 20th SC Infantry.
