In looking through the National Tribune for 1902 I ran across a series by W.A. Johnson of the 2nd SC called "Closing Days With Johnston".

The series deals with the Carolinas Campaign.

My question is this: Was Johnson in the 2nd SC Cavalry or the infantry regiment of that name from Kershaw's SC Brigade?
