After 140 years 7 months & 13 days the night attack of Major General Edward Johnson's Division at Franklin, Tn is finaly being recognized..

A Marker will be placed on the grounds of the Carter House wednesday in honor of thoses brave lads that fought in Major General Edward Johnson's Division

Brig. Gen. William F Brantley - commanding 24th, 27th, 29th, 30th, 34th Mississippi Infantry,

Brig. Gen. Zachariah C. Deas - commanding 19th, 22th, 25th, 39th, 26th/50th Alabama Infantry

Brig. Gen Arthur M. Manigault Brigade - commanding 24th, 28th,34th Alabama Infantry & 10th, 19th South Carolina Infantry

Brig. Gen. Jacob H. Sharp Brigade - commanding
7th, 9th, 10th, 41st, 44th Mississippi Inf & 9th Ms Battlion Sharpshooters
