Re: Fate of Alfred Gray, Co. A. 25th SC

PVT Alfred GRAY, Co. B, 25th SC Infantry, was captured at Weldon RR, VA, on 20 Aug 1864, and died of wounds in a prison hospital at Alexandria, VA, on 1 Sep 1864. At the time of his enlistment, he was 24 years old, and a resident of Charleston. He is buried at the Unitarian Church in Charleston, SC.
