CPT James Ravenel MACBETH, Co. E, 1st SC Artillery, was captured on Morris Island, SC, 10 Jul 1863, and sent to Johnson's Island, OH. He was moved to Ft. Monroe, VA, 8 Oct 1864, and forwarded for exchange on 12 Oct 1864.
