I'm trying to find information on David Frank White. He was a Private (Union) with the Tennessee 8th Mounted Infantry, Co. D. He was born about 1843 in TN. In 1860 he was listed as D. F. White in the Macon Co. TN census. I don't know if he was born in Macon Co. I have no idea where he was living in 1865. I can't find him again until 1880 in Allen Co. KY.
I don't know if he or his wife (Sarah Catherine Hatchett White) applied for a pension. I also have no idea if his father, brothers, cousins, etc. were in a Civil War unit.
